From May 2006, the evening class in Harpenden, on the first Wednesday each month, will focus on Katas. Conventional Katas will be looked at in detail, but Sensei Jason Bennett has also promised to take us through an unusual Kata each time.

By the way, my copy of Roget's Thesaurus says that the word "unusual" has connotations of

"new-fangled, outlandish, extraordinary, curious, bizarre, queer, peculiar, fantastic, grotesque, ridiculous, miraculous, monstrous, supernatural, freakish, astonishing, odd and teratogenic"
