Welcome to Karate For Health!

Established by members of Jin Sei Kai Shotokan Karate Association, our club promotes Karate training in Harpenden and St Albans. Classes are open to everyone in the community - regardless of age or ability.

Our emphasis is on health, fitness and fun - for all the family. Come along to any class - and join in, or watch, as you prefer. Make your own assessment of Karate For Health, without feeling under any obligation to join Jin Sei Kai.

Karate For Health enjoys a lively and friendly social scene. Club members meet regularly after training, and on other occasions, and together we have built a really supportive network for all who train with us. So, in addition to getting healthier and fitter, we aim to have more fun than the rest!

Newcomers, and parents/guardians of younger students, will want to be assured of the quality of teaching and personal integrity of our team.

Each of our Club Instructors is a seasoned black belt licensed by, and insured through, Jin Sei Kai. Those who teach children are additionally required to be CRB checked.

Furthermore, all our Club Instructors must participate in Jin Sei Kai's continuous learning and development programme to ensure that Jin Sei Kai retains its pre-eminent position and envied reputation in the Karate world - and so that our club provides the very best Karate in our area!
